WHAT IS PAYDAY FOR LIFE?
Payday For Life is a new lottery program offered by The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Participants can purchase tickets electronically for a chance to win a grand prize of $3,000 per month for life; $10,000 weekly cash prizes and $50,000 monthly cash prizes. Payday For Life is open only to residents of Ontario who are at least 18 years of age at time of purchase. All funds raised support life-saving cancer research and care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES YOU CAN WIN?
This lottery features four different types of prizes, giving players multiple chances to win. The grand prize is Payday For Life: $3,000 a month for 20 years. The winner may elect to receive a lump sum cash alternative in lieu of monthly payments. Please visit Rules of Play – The PMCF Payday for further details. In addition, there are three (3) Bonus Payday prizes of $50,000 each, thirteen (13) Weekly Payday prizes of $10,000 each, and 5,600 free tickets (valued at $20 each), adding even more opportunities to win.

Tickets are exclusively available online at www.pmcfpayday.ca between Monday, June 1, 2026, 09:00 EST to Friday, August 28, 2026, at 23:59 EST or until supplies last.

Ticket prices are as follows:
- 1 ticket for $20
- 3 tickets for $50
- 10 tickets for $100
- 20 tickets for $150
CAN THERE BE MULTIPLE NAMES ON THE TICKET?
Yes, you can add up to 3 names on a ticket. Guidelines for purchasing tickets are:
- Only ONE method of payment.
- Only ONE mailing address.
- Up to THREE names may be recorded on a ticket.
- All tickets in a pack must contain the same information.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BUY A LOTTERY TICKET?
This lottery is open to Ontario residents only, who are at least 18 years of age at time of purchase.
HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO ORDER A TICKET?
Participants must be 18 years or older, and tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor. Only paid and confirmed tickets are eligible for the draws.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO ORDER A TICKET?
The following individuals and all their immediate family members residing in the same household are prohibited from ordering a ticket: Board members and employees of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation; members of the UHN Board of Trustees and Executive Team; Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Executive Team; and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program.
WHAT IS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF TICKETS AVAILABLE?
There are 275,500 tickets available for sale and there are 5,600 tickets (Valued at $20 each) that will be awarded as prizes.
WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF WINNING?
Chances of winning any prize are approximately 1 in 49.

HOW ARE THE DRAWS MADE?
Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by BUMP, Worldwide, Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian Banknote Company Limited and a registered gaming supplier with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and under licensing approval by the licensing body (AGCO).
All prize draws will be made using a certified Random Number Generator software (RNG) under the supervision of BUMP, Worldwide, Inc.
All draws will take place at the offices of BUMP, Worldwide, Inc. at 18 Auriga Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, K2E 7T9.
HOW ARE WINNERS NOTIFIED?
Prize notifications will be delivered via email and will be addressed to the primary ticketholder. A representative from The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation will contact the individual(s) named on the official winning ticket.
A list of winners will be displayed online at www.pmcfpayday.ca each week, commencing on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and concluding on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. A printed list of winners will be available upon request. Please email paydayforlife@thepmcf.ca.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CLAIM MY PRIZE?
We ask that all winners claim their prizes within six (6) weeks if possible. Prizes must be claimed within six (6) months of the applicable draw date.
IF I WIN THE GRAND PRIZE, PAYDAY FOR LIFE, MAY I TAKE THE WINNINGS AS A LUMP SUM PAYMENT INSTEAD OF MONTHLY OVER 20 YEARS?
Yes, the winner may elect a lump sum cash alternative in lieu of the annuity.
DO I HAVE TO PAY TAX ON ANY WINNINGS?
No. Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada.
WILL I BE ISSUED A TAX RECEIPT?
No. According to Canada Revenue Agency regulations, charity lottery purchases are considered entertainment, not a direct donation.

No. Payday For Life is a separate lottery program that offers weekly and monthly cash prizes plus a grand prize of $3,000 a month for 20 years.
